Help with Random Address & Name Generator

Chrome Web Store: version 0.1.2. Manual download: version 0.1.3. The store version generates synthetic address samples. The manual version selects published business and institution addresses. Published-address explanations below apply to the manual version; the generate, copy and saved-result steps apply to both. See the Chrome Web Store listing and disclosures for the published store version, or compare versions on the installation page.

Choose a real publicly listed address with separately generated name and phone fields, copy the details you need, and keep working without leaving your current tab.

Use the extension

  1. Open Chrome’s Extensions menu and select Random Address & Name Generator. Pin it if you want to keep it on your toolbar.
  2. Choose a Country / Region, or leave Random · 8 countries selected.
  3. Select Generate new address whenever you need another set of details.
  4. Use the copy icon beside a field, Copy address for the address only, or Copy all for the full profile.

Addresses are selected from public business and institution listings. Open the source link beside a result to see the place. Generated names and phones are not its contacts; current delivery is not checked.

Countries, address tips and more addresses

The extension includes the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Canada and Australia. Its interface is in English; addresses keep the spelling and characters published by their sources.

Open Address tips & uses for postal formats and calling codes. The links below your result take you to more countries, address guides and batch downloads on randomaddress.app. Website tools open in a new tab.

A copy button does not work

Open the extension again and retry the copy button. If Chrome still cannot copy the result, select the displayed text and copy it manually. The extension writes only the details you choose to copy; it does not read your clipboard.

The same result appears when I reopen the popup

This is expected: the extension remembers your last result and country choice on this device. Select Generate new address to create another one.

To remove those saved details, scroll to the popup footer and select Clear saved data. The next time you open the extension, it starts with a new result. This clears extension storage; it does not remove text you have already copied or pasted elsewhere.

The popup is empty or looks wrong

Close the popup, reopen it and try generating a new result. If the problem remains, open Chrome’s Manage extensions page, turn the extension off and back on, then reopen it. Include your extension version and Chrome version when you contact support.
