Your address choices stay on your device

Random Address & Name Generator selects publicly listed business and institution addresses on your device. It generates names and phone numbers separately; those are not the contacts for the listed places. Delivery and phone availability are not verified.

What is saved

The extension saves your country or region choice and a result identifier in Chrome's local extension storage. The identifier lets it recreate your last result when you reopen the popup. It does not sync these preferences to your Google account.

Select “Clear saved data” at the bottom of the popup to remove the saved result and preferences. The next time you open the extension, it starts with a new result.

What the extension accesses

It uses local storage and can write the result you choose to your clipboard. It does not read your clipboard, website forms, browsing history or page contents. There is no account, background tracking or analytics request from the extension.

Opening websites

Source links open the public website for the displayed place. Other links open randomaddress.app or the tool website named below the link when you choose to click them. Related tools are invoicetemplate.app for invoice layouts, adapdf.net for PDF forms and diffchecker.online for text comparison. Links include labels identifying the extension and the link you used; some randomaddress.app links also include the selected country.

No link sends your generated name, generated phone number or seed. A source link identifies the public place, using its published URL. Addresses are not sent to another website automatically. You choose what to copy and paste. Each website handles visits and anything you enter under its own privacy policy; its analytics are separate from the extension.

Sources and support

Addresses use the same publicly listed source list as randomaddress.app, including All the Places data under CC0 and curated official listings. Names and phone numbers are generated separately.
